Easy Spring Outfit Ideas Under $20

Hi guys! Today I want to talk about spring! Spring clothes in particular. Spring is right around the corner, so I am excited to start thinking about this season’s styles. This season brings a lot of fun styles to play with. I love the bright colors and peppy patterns. Everything is so vibrant and whimsical. Here are some spring styles I put together. They’re simple, easy, and the best part: they all cost less than $20! Most of the clothes I bought were on sale at the time, so I can’t directly link to them because they’re gone now, but I will tell you where I got them and for how much. That way you can get an idea for where I shop and find deals, and maybe get some inspiration to go find your own awesome clothes for less.

Stripes and Sun Hats

Stripes are pretty much my favorite thing right now, and sun hats are just always great during spring. Stripes add a little bit of detail to every piece of clothing. I live in Florida, where it’s hot during the springtime, so sorry in advance if it’s still snowing where you live.

Sun hat: Target $10

Romper: Target $10

Pop of Color

Purple is perfect for spring and this shade is just bright enough to avoid coming off too fall-ish. I love how eye-catching it is, you don’t see that shade too often. Pair with nude pumps and fun earrings for a simple, yet eye-catching spring look.

Shirt: Target $6

Heels: Rue 21 $7

Simple Sundress and a Breezy Cardigan

A flowery dress is always a great option and a light sweater turns it from summer to spring in an instant.

Dress: Ross $14

Romper with a Twist

I love rompers! But they almost always give off a summer vibe. Find a romper with some light colors and pair it a denim jacket to avoid that.

Romper: Plato’s Closet $10

Denim Jacket: JC Penny’s $10

Lovely in Lavender

Lavender is without a doubt the most springy color imaginable, and the pretty little floral cutout on this top is too cute!

Shirt: Plato’s Closet $5

Bandeau: Sear’s $4

Sandals: Forever 21 $5

Overalls and a Light Sweater

Okay so technically these are shortalls, but I think overalls are great for spring, too. Shortalls with a light sweater pair perfectly to keep you warm enough, but not too hot that you sweat through your clothes (thanks, Florida). Also, thought I should mention that I LOVE black-and-white stripes paired with a floral accent pattern. I usually hate having two patterns in one outfit, but I feel they work together without being too flashy.

Sweater: Rue 21 $3

Shortalls: Plato’s Closet $10

Shoes: Plato’s Closet $6

Chambray Shirt and a Pretty Skirt

This was probably my favorite outfit of them all. It’s super simple, yet looks so put together. Just throw on a comfy maxi skirt and tie up your chambray top, and you’re golden; hippie vibes with ~almost~ no effort.

Top: Sear’s $8

Skirt: Ross $11

Florals, Florals, and More Florals

If you haven’t noticed, I love floral patterns. They are pretty much the staple of spring fashion. A flowy flower top and strappy sandals are springtime necessities.

Top: Rue 21 $3

Sandals: Sear’s $10

Maxi Dress All the Way

When in doubt, wear a maxi dress. These things are so versatile, comfortable, and just perfect in general. You can wear them throughout the entire year, and this one with its pastel detailing nails the spring vibe.

Dress: Target $20
